The content is very beneficial. I think it would be a great asset to a new MT/ME as well as an MT/ME that just wants to brush up on their ortho terminology. I think the hands on experience of listening to dictation, especially different accents is really a plus! Usually you do not hear many ESL doctors on practice materials, and then MTs get out into the real world of transcription and are overwhelmed with these new accents. Listening to them, gives you an idea what the accents are like, and the more you hear these, the more prepared you are for it in the real working world. Gives me more practice with different accents and helps to hear more terminology than I am possibly used to on an every day basis. - Kelly S. There are real dictators and plenty of variety. Having the option of the PDF with “feedback” and Word keys without are great teaching tools... The content appears to be quite thorough and accurate. It is presented in a nice flow, although the person using it can also select different areas as needed as well... I like that the dictators are real and real-life challenges are given (very fast dictators, a bit of background noise, etc). This is very helpful in allowing someone experience (much better scenario than sterile “teaching” voice files). I can use this program to refresh my skills. There are also some files on some surgeries I don’t get exposure to very often, so I can also use it as a learning tool. Thank you for developing these products.
